Taqeef, the visionaries behind desert cooling systems, has launched an exciting Sustainability Handbook for the Home in celebration of World Environment Day (5th June) and the UAE’s Year of Sustainability.

With a cover designed by talented Emirati artist Abdulla Lutfi, the handbook contains practical tips for reducing energy consumption while integrating sustainable practices into every aspect of home life, work and play. For younger children, it also offers engaging activities for kids designed to educate and inspire them about sustainability in a fun and interactive way.

Insightful contributions include How Waste Labs composts at home, an innovative startup dedicated to turning food scraps into valuable solutions. Crimson Education, a globally renowned college admissions consultancy, offers a curated list of 10 degree programs through which aspiring students can pursue rewarding careers and make a positive impact on the environment.

The choices we make today have a profound impact on our children, our communities and our planet. As such, As we stride into the future, let’s make sure we leave a small footprint, for present and future generations.”

Renowned UAE figure skating champion and brand ambassador for Taqeef, Zahra Lari, who also joined the cause, added: “In today’s world, it is vital to understand that small changes can make a big difference. Witnessed it firsthand on the inside. My relationship with my sport — it’s been a game changer time and time again.” — trade arab news agency
