Dubai Municipality and the International Code Council (ICC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand bilateral cooperation to develop codes and standards for evaluating and organizing modern innovative building systems, and to encourage the safe use of 3D printing technology in construction.
Signing off on the report, Maryam Obaid Al Muhairi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Municipality’s Building Regulations and Permits Agency, said it is part of Dubai Municipality’s efforts to enhance Dubai’s position as a leading global center for 3D printing technology and modern innovative construction methods.
