The UEFA Champions League comes to an end this weekend, which means no more top-flight televised football in the summer (cheers to all the soccer fan girlfriends around). But we still look forward to this exciting clash between the two football giants before the football match is over.
The final of the 2022-23 season will take place in Istanbul on Saturday 10 June at 11pm and will see local favorites Manchester City in action as they battle for their first Champions League trophy. Counting pre-hatched chicks in a football final is the folly of a fool (never forget the infamous Istanbul night of 2005).
Gundogan, Haaland, De Bruyne and company (not to be confused with Kompany) must contend before they can lift the silverware and beat a jubilant, determined and scrappy Inter Milan – who have less winning streaks but Do have experience with three Champions League titles to help fire up their tekkers.
But if you’re an Abu Dhabi fan and can’t afford the three mortgages required to get tickets to see it live – the good news is they’ll be showing it on a big screen in the City Square section of Yas Mall.
While we wish both teams the best of luck, sorry Inter fans, this is a viewing party exclusively for Manchester City fans.

That’s right, there will be a screening of the Champions League final, where fans across Abu Dhabi will be able to gather in one place to watch highlights from the game.
Kick-off is 11pm (UAE time) on Saturday and there will be plenty of pre-match publicity, including City’s official mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam.
Don’t worry about painting your face with your team logo at home as Yas Mall has face painters to do it for you. In addition to freestyle swimming and many other fun activities.

Admission to the event is completely free, but we encourage you to register early as you and a friend stand a chance to win “Best Seats in Show,” where you’ll sit on a VIP sofa.
