Abu Dhabi-based Aldar Properties has announced the launch of its second building at The Source, a residential community redefining healthy living in the heart of Saadiyat Island.
The Source II follows the sell-out of the first building at “The Source,” a community purpose-built with the holistic health and well-being of its residents at its core. The developer said the initial sale generated a lot of interest from overseas buyers, with all 204 apartments sold within days of launch.
The latest development comprises 148 contemporary residential units designed to complement Saadiyat Island’s cultural and natural surroundings.
Residents will also have the opportunity to explore some of the UAE’s most exciting cultural landmarks, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, the Abraham Family House and the Natural History Museum, it said.
According to Aldar, The Source II blends luxury, sustainability and comfort in line with its commitment to net zero and supporting environmental sustainability and community wellbeing.
Aiming for a 2 Pearl Estidama rating and LEED certification, the development employs sustainable design principles and green building techniques to conserve water and reduce carbon emissions.
It also offers residents a haven of well-being, with a range of facilities and services focused on enhancing physical and mental well-being and strengthening social connections.
Designed with low carbon guidelines, the development will be built with smart infrastructure ensuring improved energy efficiency, cleaner and healthier air, and enabling residents to enjoy a clean and holistic lifestyle, featuring sophisticated space planning, spa-inspired The bathrooms and avant-it-adds are full of avant-garde appliances and amenities.
