washington [US], June 13 (ANI): US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo has stressed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the US will provide an opportunity to strengthen commercial and strategic technology partnerships between the two countries. She singled out industries such as defense, semiconductors and clean energy as areas of focus.

Speaking at the US-India Business Council’s (USIBC) 48th India Ideas Summit in Washington on Tuesday, Raimondo said: “Our goal is to elevate and connect our vibrant innovation ecosystem, address regulatory barriers to collaboration, and Further supporting our shared vision to enhance strategic technology partnerships.
