Modon Properties, specialists in developing vibrant communities, unique hospitality and lifestyle experiences, and world-class sports facilities, has unveiled its masterplan for Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
Modon’s statement said Hudayriyat Island is a groundbreaking project, the first of its kind in the city in terms of size and area.
This large-scale mixed-use development covers an area of ​​more than 51 million square meters (equivalent to 53.8% of Abu Dhabi Island), and its appeal lies in its unique natural environment and strategic location.
In addition to a unique futuristic residential offering, Hudayriyat will also offer state-of-the-art sports facilities, making it a destination of choice for those seeking an unparalleled sports and leisure experience.
It said the mega-project would follow an evolving global model of sustainable living, enrich the diversity of urban services in the emirate and provide a highly desirable living environment for residents and visitors.
It added that the project is a key contributor to the realization of Abu Dhabi’s strategic vision by driving urban expansion.
Jassem Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, chairman of Abu Dhabi’s Ministry of Finance and Modon Properties, said the projects will help Abu Dhabi strengthen its global status as a major city to live and visit and the world – a first-class for citizens, residents, athletes and tourists sports destination.
He added: “The Hudayriyat Island project is a milestone in Abu Dhabi’s journey of innovation and progress as it embodies the city’s future vision for sustainable urban planning, building vibrant communities and developing a diversified economy, thereby raising the profile of the emirate. Competitiveness in all fields.”
The mixed-use development consists of high-end residential communities situated on and around two hill communities of 45 and 50 meters high, offering 360-degree panoramic views of Abu Dhabi city and the waterfront.
The master plan will add 53.5 kilometers of coastline to the urban landscape, including 16 kilometers of beaches, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a world-class lifestyle destination connecting tourism, leisure, sports and urban transport.
Exciting destinations in the Al Hudayriyat Island project also include the Velodrome Abu Dhabi, Surf Abu Dhabi, various sports, business and leisure facilities, the largest urban park in the emirate, and a network of 220 km long cycle paths. Hudayriyat Island already has Bab Al Nojoum Glamping Resort, Marsana Beach, OCR Park, Trail X, Bike Park, 321 Sports and more.
