Hrithik Roshan wins IIFA Best Actor for fifth time for his performance in the film Vikram Vedacommemorating the experience the versatile actor shared on social media.
Showcasing an unseen side to his versatility, Hrithik Roshan impressed with his impactful performance as the menacing Vedha in Vikram Vedha. With attention to detail, Hrithik matches his demeanor with his accent, making him a fearsome but morally sound gangster, making him worthy of all the praise and accolades for his role.
Speaking at the event in Abu Dhabi, Hrithik Roshan, who presented the award to the maker of his film Pushkar and Gayatri, said: “I have lived with Vedha for many years. It started with Abu Dhabi. My first shot here as Vedha.. Feels like life is back to square one for me. Vedha has helped me unleash the madness inside me that I didn’t know existed. Thank you universe, thank you The Vedas helped me discover that madness and helped me discover the power to control it. I really love and admire the characters that result from a deep collaboration between actors and directors. I know, if it weren’t for my directors , I will not stand here tonight.”
Speaking of which, Hrithik Roshan invited writer-director duo Pushkar and Gayatri to the stage to dedicate the award to them and express his gratitude to them. The directing duo also showed love to Hrithik Roshan, returning admiration and respect.

Interestingly, Hrithik Roshan’s debut novel Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai Published in 2000, the same year IIFA was established. The Indian superstar revealed the same in a news interaction at the awards ceremony. Hrithik Roshan said: “I have some fond memories of IIFA; IIFA and I have been working together since 2000.”
This year IIFA was held in Abu Dhabi, and Hrithik Roshan revealed another interesting anecdote, “Abu Dhabi is the place where I tried my first as an actor”, recalling his first scene Vikram veda Shot in the city.
