MoS Lekhi attended a yoga session with diplomats and government officials in Delhi on Saturday ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21.
Meanwhile, Amina Mohammad, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), said she was looking forward to joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the celebration of International Yoga Day on the North Lawn of the UN Headquarters in New York on June 21.
“Looking forward to joining Prime Minister @NarendraModi at the 9th International Yoga Day @UN celebration next week on the North Lawn of UN Headquarters,” Mohammad tweeted.
Prime Minister Modi will start his first state visit to the US on June 20. The visit will begin in New York, where the Prime Minister will lead the celebration of International Yoga Day at United Nations Headquarters on 21 June.
