The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has released a comprehensive plan for Eid al-Adha. The ministry announced that from the beginning of 2023 to mid-June, they had received and approved the entry of 366,035 animals, including sheep, goats, cattle and camels, through various border crossings in the state. The approval is obtained after the animals have undergone the necessary veterinary quarantine procedures as well as clinical and laboratory examinations to ensure that they are healthy and free from any contagious, epidemic or zoonotic diseases. This figure represents a 12 percent increase from the 326,913 animals in the same period last year.
