Blue Seafood Asia is a chic new Asian seafood restaurant that just opened in the upscale Waldorf DIFC Hotel, offering a casual and elegant way of dining. It is inspired by “the lively fish market on the Asian coast, the optimistic atmosphere and the sensational cooking techniques”, so you can expect a real experience.

Blue Seafood Asia occupies 7,000 square feet, with casual dining and lounge areas and a terrace with views of the DIFC skyline. As this is a seafood restaurant, its interior design is inspired by the Asian ocean, with nautical blue and beach wood contrasting each other, and the open kitchen is framed by cool Asian murals.

The menu is influenced by China, Japan and Singapore, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka, and is designed by chef Andrei Voitovici. You can choose your favorite seafood from the oyster bar that displays sushi, nigiri sushi and sashimi platter. Appetizers include fried crab cakes coated with mango, kiwi, and papaya sauce or rich shrimp tempura glazed with Thai mayonnaise.

Specialties include Tom Yum Goong and dumplings, blue crab platter and mussel pot. Those who like rice and noodles can try the egg-dipped Thai noodles prepared from the ramen table, which are coated with mixed vegetables, spicy chili sauce and crunchy peanuts, or mixed with fried mushrooms.

Be sure to leave room for desserts with exquisite dishes, such as matcha cocoa cloud desserts dipped in lime and ripe mango, or cheesecake dipped in lychees, chestnuts, and refreshing rose petals. The bar serves all your favorite drinks, from wine, beer and spirits to eye-catching cocktails.
