A sequel to Disney’s fan-favorite animated film is on the way, CEO Bob Iger says

Disney CEO Bob Iger announced on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 that sequels to several fan-favorite animated films are in the works, according to deadline.

“Today, I’m excited to announce that there are sequels to some of our animation studio and some of our most beloved franchises, toy story, frozen and Zootopiasaid Iger.

The news comes on the heels of some negative news that cost savings of $5.5 billion across all divisions of the conglomerate and Disney laying off 7,000 jobs per type,
