Disney CEO Bob Iger announced on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 that sequels to several fan-favorite animated films are in the works, according to deadline.
“Today, I’m excited to announce that there are sequels to some of our animation studio and some of our most beloved franchises, toy story, frozen and Zootopiasaid Iger.
“We’ll share more about these titles soon, but this is a great example of how we can build on our unrivaled brands and franchises.”

Josh Gad, who plays Olaf the lovable snowman frozen franchise, also shared his excitement for the third installment on Instagram.
The news comes on the heels of some negative news that cost savings of $5.5 billion across all divisions of the conglomerate and Disney laying off 7,000 jobs per type,
