ABC Entertainment Felicia Joseph has been hired as Senior Vice President of Casting, type learned.
Joseph joins ABC from MRC, most recently as Senior Vice President of Casting for an independent studio. In her new role, she will report to Sharon Klein, executive vice president of casting for Walt Disney Television. She will oversee casting for all ABC pilots and series, as well as unscripted casting for Hulu and other WDTV brands. The role marked the return of Joseph, who began her career in ABC’s casting department.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Felicia in the past and know how she builds relationships with top talent,” Klein said. “Her enthusiasm, intuition and deep understanding of our business make her an ideal candidate for the role and frankly the only person I would have wanted. We are delighted to welcome her back to ABC where she started her career career.”
Joseph joined MRC in 2020. During her time at the studio, she worked on shows like “The Great”, “Ozark”, “Shining Girls”, “The Terminal List” and “Poker Face”. Prior to that, she was vice president of casting for NBCUniversal. In addition to her earlier stints at ABC, she has had roles at MGM and Paramount Pictures.
“It’s an honor to join Sharon Klein and ABC’s exceptional creative team led by Craig Erwich,” said Joseph. “Our opportunity to enhance the network’s bold vision through strategic partnerships with leading talent and award-winning storytellers makes this return even more special.”
Since 2021, Joseph has served as Vice President of Advocacy for the American Foundry Association.
