Abdullah bin Zayed talks de-escalation with Italy and Spain FMs by phone

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Foreign Minister, discussed halting the Palestinian-Israeli escalation in two phone calls with Antonio Tajani, the Italian Foreign Minister, and José Manuel Albares Bueno, the Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation.

The UAE Foreign Minister, along with his Italian and Spanish counterparts, reviewed regional and international efforts to mitigate the current situation’s consequences and safeguard civilians.

Sheikh Abdullah stressed the importance of de-escalation to prevent a cycle of violence that could endanger regional security, stability, and the well-being of its residents.

The top diplomats agreed on the crucial necessity of ongoing communication and coordination regarding the current crisis.
