ABU DHABI: Dr. Khadija Al Ameri, member of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Chamber and member of Abu Dhabi Women Entrepreneurs Council, visited the Lithuanian Embassy’s pavilion at Abu Dhabi International Food Fair 2022 this morning.
She discussed with His Excellency Ramūnas Davidonis, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the UAE, the prospects for cooperation between Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Lithuania in the field of food and agriculture.
During the meeting, Ambassador Ramunas said that the Lithuanian enterprises participating in the exhibition adopted the latest technologies such as freeze-drying, precision agriculture, and 3D printing, and relied on seasonal organic commodities to produce healthy and nutritious food.
Dr. Al Ameri was presented with products from Lithuanian companies such as Super Garden, which produce freeze-dried products that are ideal substitutes for sweets, including cheese and freeze-dried berries. AUGA Group has entered the UAE market since 2019, offering ready-to-eat food: such as soup, porridge and steamed beans.
Mrs. Šarūnė Šablevičienė, Commercial and Agricultural Attaché, Lithuanian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, explained in detail that Varėnos pienelis offers delicious and healthy dairy products, and Wezoop nutritional and innovative food, designed to meet the nutritional needs of the elderly.
She added that the innovative Startuper’s Smoothies drink is the best alternative, both healthy and delicious. It has been sold in Ireland and Belgium, and has signed supply agreements with Brazil, Peru, Japan, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.
