New York, USA, December 27, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — It’s been a busy month for the Harvard Business Council (NY, USA) as it works to organize and direct the second round of the HBC 2022 International Awards, culminating in the selection of 60 winners from around the world.
Countless applications were received this year. In fact, 5,000 nominees have entered the various prestigious awards presented by the organization. However, only 531 of these were assessed by the jury as meeting the HBC’s required standard of excellence.
The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority (ADCDA) applied for the Business Resilience Award, achieving Gold status.
The agency works to provide security for life and property in Abu Dhabi, protect them from risk, limit losses, and spread prevention awareness through qualified cadres, accompanying equipment, partnerships, and productive collaboration.
To successfully implement their plan, they implemented an enterprise business resilience model that included flexibility as one of their strategic goals, prioritizing readiness and preparedness when managing incidents. Furthermore, the flexibility concept has been extended from risk management, crisis management and ensuring business continuity to include all management, technical and logistical operations in ADCDA.
Of course, no successful strategy can be implemented without the support of dedicated and professional leadership that facilitates learning and growth while continuously monitoring internal and external factors and striving to meet changing stakeholder requirements.
The Harvard Business Council recognizes the efforts and professionalism of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense in creating an efficient and resilient institution that can make a difference in the lives of many and the future of an entire country. Excellence is not only in designing a similar plan, but in being able to implement it.
