The customs authority said the new logo was designed to reflect simplicity, modernity and innovation, and took the form of a trade protection gateway as the sector connects the emirate to the world by air, land and sea as part of global trade . center. Notable for its dark green color, the design symbolizes the use of innovative solutions to develop advanced technology-based services and the sustainability of customs procedures.

The new image is in line with the government’s direction to achieve sustainable development and protect the nation’s resources.

New logo for Abu Dhabi Customs

Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, said: “Corporate identity is a fresh start to elevate customs work and realize the government’s vision to become a world-class customs authority. Supporting the consolidation of Abu Dhabi as a global trade, investment capital of business and commerce, and strengthen the emirate’s position as the safest city in the world.”

He added: “The new logo is not just a change in appearance to keep pace with modern trends. It is a driving force that will guide us through streamlining procedures, developing customs services, strengthening security controls, serving the commercial sector, supporting investment growth and consolidating The UAE’s position as a global partner, attractive and influential economy enhances our vital role. Meanwhile, Dubai Customs said it processed 12.3 million customs declarations in the first half of 2023, a 10 percent increase compared to the same period last year. As part of efforts to speed up trade operations, Dubai Customs recently equipped the Jebel Ali Customs Center with the world’s first scanning system, allowing officers to inspect and inspect equipment, heavy vehicles, buses and yachts using X-ray scanning technology.
