The collaboration focuses on personalized medicine in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
United Arab Emirates (UAE) Healthcare Regulatory Council – Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health has announced an agreement with AbbVie Biopharmaceutical and integrated healthcare company M42 to work on genomics for personalized medicine in the city. As part of the partnership, the three parties intend to advance the diagnosis and treatment of multiple myeloma and non-small cell lung cancer.
Hassan Sabbah, General Manager, AbbVie Gulf and Levant, said: “This partnership aims to advance precision medicine in diagnostics and therapeutics, and to improve access to innovative treatments for a wider range of patients in the UAE.
