International Carriers Bring Back Services to the UAE Capital
Travellers flying through the capital have some good news. Abu Dhabi flights resume in stages this week, with several international carriers restarting routes that had been paused due to recent regional disruptions.
Qatar Airways has brought back its Doha to Abu Dhabi service, and passengers with existing bookings up to the end of October are being offered one free date change as a courtesy during the transition.
Turkish Airlines also confirmed it is now fully back to its scheduled routes across the Middle East, after resuming Abu Dhabi flights earlier this month.
Not every airline is fully back yet. Some routes from Central Asia remain suspended for now, with a few carriers holding off until at least the end of August before reviewing schedules again.
Airport officials say ground operations at Abu Dhabi’s terminals remain steady, even as individual airlines continue adjusting based on demand and regional conditions.
For anyone with upcoming travel plans, checking directly with your airline before heading to the airport remains the safest bet. Schedules are improving, but short-notice changes are still possible on a handful of international routes.
