Entertainment at Yas Island and other suburban venues to continue through Sunday
Performances by award-winning musicians, the return of popular family events, cooking season and several events will continue through Sunday in Abu Dhabi.

John Legend lives at Louvre Abu Dhabi
The renowned American singer, songwriter, pianist and record producer will be attending the Louvre Abu Dhabi Grand Festival as part of the museum’s fifth anniversary celebration. The highly anticipated multi-Grammy winner concert will take place on Saturday. In addition, Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, St. John the Baptist, is on display at the museum. It is on loan from the Louvre Museum. In addition, the “Impressionism: The Road to Modernity” exhibition at the Louvre Abu Dhabi is one of the largest Impressionist masterpieces ever exhibited outside of France.
Yas Bay Seaside Jazz
From Friday to Sunday, Yas Bay Waterfront, Abu Dhabi’s vibrant day and night destination, will host a brand new series of live music, ‘Jazz by the Bay’. It is open to the public and runs every weekend until November 27th from 5pm to 11pm. The show will take place on two stages, both on the boardwalk next to Central and the Arena Plaza adjacent to Lock, Stock and Barrel. In addition to a wide range of international culinary concepts, and a dynamic mix of licensed restaurants and lounges such as Asian Asia, Akiba Dori, Lock Stock and Barrel, La Carnita, The Lighthouse and Hunter and Barrel, guests can also enjoy a foot-and-jazz theme ‘s performance.
New Season at the Park Market
The Park Market returns to Umm Aymarat Park, one of the oldest and largest urban parks in Abu Dhabi. The annual outdoor wonder takes place every Friday and Saturday from March 18th from 4pm to 11pm. Many local businesses have various booths showcasing the best fresh and organic produce. There are art galleries and many different accessory stalls selling resin art candles, robes, Turkish fashion, antiques, crocheted items, silver jewellery, custom hats and bags, skincare and fragrances. There will be plenty of activities for kids such as arts and crafts, kite flying, bubbles, painting and different skill games. In addition, the park will host magic shows, clown shows, storytelling sessions, music performances and more. The Park Cinema is returning, offering free family-friendly activities that give guests the opportunity to enjoy the open air in the Park Children’s Garden. Film screenings will be held every Friday and Saturday evening, with two screenings daily at 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
Abu Dhabi time begins
Abu Dhabi Moments will offer family activities and fun for all, an exciting series of emirate-wide entertainment and games that will take place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Khalifa Square in Khalifa City Opening, 4pm to 11pm. The experience includes stage music performances such as “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin”, bubble performances, balloon twisters, magic shows, and pet lovers are invited to enjoy the K9 Dogs show. There will be roaming entertainment, workshops, pottery making, art performances, community painting, baristas and traditional handicrafts. In total, there are more than 60 activities to take part in over the three-day event. It is hosted by the Ministry of Community Development and collaborates with various other entities in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Food Season
The emirate’s annual culinary celebration will be held in cafes and restaurants in Abu Dhabi until 5 December, offering a diverse range of culinary experiences, cuisines, styles and price points. On Thursday night, three restaurants from the capital were awarded one Michelin star, and 42 branches became the first choice of the Abu Dhabi Michelin Guide, which was launched in a grand ceremony at the Emirates Palace.
