The late Ahmed Rashid Thani began writing poetry in the late 1970s and was deeply drawn to the Institute of Drama and Literature, known as the UAE, the GCC and the Arab world The “revival poet” of the poet community. His poetry collections include “Blood by Candlelight,” “Night Comes and Takes Me,” “Happy Here,” “The One Who Made Love and the World of the Sea” and “Clouds at Home.”
Furthermore, he is considered to be the most active, hardworking, productive and accurate among the UAE National Heritage researchers.
