Abu Dhabi named the safest city in the Middle East by EIU

[ad_1]

AUH topped the list for the fourth time in a row…

The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the analysis agency of The Economist magazine, released a report that ranked 60 cities around the world in order of safety.

Research and analysis 2021 Safe City Index Earlier this year, EIU conducted this survey, and each city surveyed will be scored based on its relative safety.

Cities scored in 76 independent urban safety indicators, which can be roughly divided into the following five types of safety: personal, health, infrastructure, digital, and environmental safety. Before assigning scores, everything from pollution to crime rates will be viewed.

Abu Dhabi scored “very high” in terms of health and infrastructure safety. Unsurprisingly, if anything, the pandemic will only highlight how effective, well-equipped and rapidly deployed health services in our emirate are.

The capital ranks 31st in the world overall, but it ranks first in the Middle East for the fourth time in a row.

But which city ranks first in the world?

Old Copenhagen is good. As if to show the marginal percentage of Canadians in Disney, Toronto won the silver medal, and the rest of the list, as you might expect, is dominated by Australia, Northern Europe and New Asian cities.

  1. Copenhagen
  2. Toronto
  3. Singapore
  4. Sydney
  5. Tokyo
  6. Amsterdam
  7. Wellington
  8. Hong Kong
  9. Melbourne
  10. Stockholm

What can we learn from the list?

This is not just to celebrate Ws. Part of the reason the EIU publishes such a report is that those with the ability to shape cities have the tools and data to analyze the input and output of the city.

“Output” is how a city is performing in a certain field, and “input” is a plan to improve urban life.
