Abu Dhabi Parent-Friendly Label 2026: Application Deadline Ends Today
The Abu Dhabi Parent-Friendly Label 2026 application deadline ends today, August 14, giving eligible organisations across the UAE one final opportunity to apply for the fourth cycle of the programme.
The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) launched Cycle 4 earlier this year as a voluntary programme that recognises organisations supporting working parents through family-friendly workplace policies.
The original application deadline was July 31, but the ECA later extended it to August 14, 2026, following strong interest from organisations.
The programme is open to organisations in the semi-government, private and third sectors across the UAE. A government-sector pilot is also being developed with the Ministry of Family.
The label assesses organisations across five areas:
- Parental leave
- Flexible working
- Family care
- Family wellbeing
- Workplace culture and innovation
Organisations that meet the required standards can receive the Parent-Friendly Label, while those meeting or exceeding global standards can qualify for the Parent-Friendly Label+.
The programme has become broader since its launch in 2021. More than 311,000 employees across the UAE have benefited from parent-supportive policies through the programme, according to the official Parent-Friendly Label website.
The initiative is particularly relevant this year as the UAE observes the Year of the Family 2026, with greater attention being placed on family wellbeing and workplace support.
For eligible organisations that have not yet applied, August 14 is the final day to submit an application for Cycle 4.
