A 39-year-old man has been ordered to move out of his father’s house after the latter complained he was overstaying on his own property, even though he had built his own.

Official court documents say the father filed a lawsuit against his son to force him to leave the apartment attached to his family and return it to him.

The father in the lawsuit said he sheltered his son in his apartment for years until he was able to build his own.

He noted that he asked his son to move out of his apartment and stay in his newly built home, but the latter refused, prompting him to go to court.

The father told the court his son was 39 years old, sane, working and earning, and it was time for him to fully cover his expenses, including housing.

The son’s lawyer confirmed that his client was disabled and that he had lived with his father since he was a child.

He also argued that it was wrong for a father to kick his disabled son out of the house and that a father who kept his son at home was not considered a host family.

After hearing the case, the Al Ain court of first instance issued a ruling instructing the son to move out of his father’s house.

The man was also told to pay his father’s legal costs.
