Abu Dhabi to host second annual Investopia conference in 2023

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – () – Abu Dhabi will host the second annual Investopia conference on March 1-2, 2023, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), under the theme “Looking forward to opportunities in an era of change”.

The Investopia 2023 dates have been announced by His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, at a business conference organized by Investopia and ADDED in Abu Dhabi, attended by Investopia partners, senior officials and CEOs from the public and private sectors.

Investopia 2023 will discuss the shift in global investment in the development of creating new economic concepts related to virtual reality, sustainability and a green economy.

HE Bin Touq said: “The current challenges facing the global economy highlight the strategic need to develop more solutions through new economic sectors capable of meeting sustainable development requirements and creating growth opportunities. Investopia’s annual conference, in its new edition next year, will focus on Live next-generation investment opportunities in transport technology, climate, food and energy, which have become a real bet on sustainability and the fundamental pillars of the future economy.”

HE Bin Touq stressed that the UAE has set an ambitious goal for the next 50 years to transition to a new development model that is more open to the world based on advanced technology, talent, creativity and emerging ideas. He noted that Investopia is one of the main initiatives to support the country’s ambitions, providing a new space to promote global investment dialogue and help to launch innovative ideas that create new sustainable growth opportunities.

HE Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of ADDED, said: “Co-organising the second Investopia conference is in line with our efforts to further strengthen the UAE’s reputation as a global investment hub and Abu Dhabi as an active and A thriving business hotspot of choice”.
