[ad_1]

The hosting of this international championship in Abu Dhabi for the first time is the result of ADRO’s continuous efforts to bring prominent and professional events to Abu Dhabi to reinforce the emirate’s position as a leading and capable destination for major events across all sectors and fields. It also reflects ADRO’s commitment to participate in groundbreaking international events to highlight the UAE’s position as the destination of choice for international talent to live, work and develop.

“By hosting this major event in Abu Dhabi for the first time, we seek to attract the brightest minds and talents to Abu Dhabi and provide them with a unique opportunity to settle in, contributing to the UAE’s diversity efforts and towards a sustainable excellence,” said Hareb Al Mheiri, Executive Director of ADRO.

“This championship is an unprecedented opportunity for the youth of the Emirates to showcase their skills and talents and represent the UAE at this prestigious international event.”

The annual KenKen International Championships attract students of all ages and encourage school and university students to actively use their intelligence and skills. The tournament’s name was inspired by the world-famous Japanese puzzle game KenKen, or “Kendo,” which was featured in more than 150 newspapers around the world, including The New York Times and The Times. Puzzle books for this popular game have sold over 1 million copies to date.

KenKen puzzles are designed to increase the player’s intelligence. In a dedicated survey, 92% of participants said that KenKen improved their logical thinking skills, and 84% said it helped improve their problem-solving skills.

ADRO encourages talented students of all ages to participate in the Championships in Abu Dhabi to support and motivate them to develop their skills and talents in a positive way while embracing creativity, progression and prosperity.

Students interested in participating in the tournament need to register through the official KenKen website by November 30th.
