The Abu Dhabi authorities have updated Covid-19 safety measures to participate in events and exhibitions.
In a notice issued to managers of hotels, museums, cultural and entertainment venues; event organizers, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (DCT)-Abu Dhabi stated that the new measures will take effect on October 13.
The new measures are:
>> Use the Green Pass Agreement: This restricts residents and tourists vaccinated against Covid from entering most public places in Abu Dhabi. After the vaccinated person undergoes the PCR test, the green status will be activated for 30 days. Those who are not eligible for the vaccine will receive a green pass for 7 days after the PCR test.
>> The negative result of the PCR test performed no more than 48 hours ago.
>> Must wear a mask.
>> EDE scanners at all entrances: This technology can detect possible Covid-19 infection by measuring electromagnetic waves. When virus RNA particles are present in the human body, the electromagnetic waves will change. This requirement immediately applies to facilities that already have the technology. Others are obliged to adopt it “when the device is available.”
