The ALC has announced plans to host the Al Ain Book Festival in Al Ain from November 14th to 20th, which will include a busy cultural, intellectual and artistic event.
ALC President Dr. Ali bin Tamim praised this latest decision, which aims to support the new strategy of ADIBF and the Book Fair as a whole, which demonstrates the leadership’s vision to promote knowledge, advance the publishing industry, support local publishers and foster dialogue between ADIBF and Between various publishing and creative content sectors locally, regionally and internationally.
“The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2022, organised annually by the ALC, has been a remarkable success, cementing its leadership in the global cultural arena,” he said. “This aligns the show with the reputation of the UAE and Abu Dhabi as leaders in the industry and as hosts of the most distinguished exhibitions and cultural events, allowing visitors to explore human creativity and innovation in all fields.”
“In its latest edition, the campaign is able to support publishers and stimulate competition to advance and develop all aspects of the publishing industry,” he added. “We are currently working hard to develop the Al Ain Book Festival and the Al Dhafra Book Festival and re-launch new editions that meet the requirements and desires of publishers and the local publishing industry.”
