Abu Dhabi’s first indoor snow park opens to public

Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment brings sub-zero temperatures to tourists in the UAE with the launch of its latest attraction – Snow Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi’s first snow park has opened to the public and the new attraction is the latest in a string of snow attractions that operator Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment is opening across the UAE.

Part of the UAE capital’s Reem Mall, Snow Abu Dhabi covers nearly 10,000 square meters (107,600 square feet) and was designed as an enchanted forest within a world of snow and ice.

Maintaining temperatures of -2°C and 500mm of snow depth, this snow-themed park has more than 20 rides and attractions themed around activities like bobsleigh, boccia and zip lining.

In addition to the attractions, the park has three dining options, including a restaurant where guests can enjoy food and drinks surrounded by real snow.

Snow Abu Dhabi is the second Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment development to open in the MENA region within six months, following Snow Oman. The opening marks the fourth entertainment experience in the Global Snow portfolio – Majid Al Futtaim’s indoor snow and ski entertainment division.
