ACTEntertainment Lighting controllers from the Amsterdam-based manufacturer Visual Productions will start being supplied to US customers. This includes the brand’s newest solution, RdmRelay, as well as its CueCore3 and TimeCore products, which will be on display at InfoComm 2023 at ACT Entertainment’s booth (booth 3643).

The latest innovation from Visual Productions is the RdmRelay, a DIN rail mount device with four 16A/250V AC resistor heavy duty relays. It can be controlled by RDM and DMX512-A, and RdmRelay can be set by RDM debugging tool. It can also switch 110V/230V devices up to 16 amps per relay, making it ideal for controlling non-DMX devices or turning off lighting fixtures. Powered by 9-24V DC 5W (PSU optional), the EN55103-1/EN55103-2 compliant RdmRelay can operate in temperatures from -4°F to 122°F (-20-50°C) with a humidity range of 10 -80 percent.
ACT Entertainment will also showcase Visual Productions CueCore3, a DMX lighting controller for installations with 2,048 channels. CueCore3 is a completely solid-state device, a safe, low-maintenance control solution. On-board flash drive memory allows storage of DMX programs, while programming is accomplished via CueluxPro lighting control software or a dynamic web interface. Additionally, playback can be fully automated and triggered by various IP-based protocols – such as DPI, MIDI or the internal scheduler. CueCore3 features SMPTE timecode and a battery-powered real-time clock that can be powered via Ethernet or 9-24V DC 500mA. CueCore3 can be mounted on a desktop, on a DIN rail or as a 19” rack mount unit using an optional adapter.

Finally, Visual Productions TimeCore is a one-stop toolbox for timecode. It’s a simple and reliable device for generating, following and converting various timecode protocols – for everything from SMPTE and MTC to Art-Net. TimeCore is capable of sending and receiving popular show control protocols and can synchronize all AV elements of a show such as sound, lighting, video, animatronics and pyrotechnics. Additionally, a built-in event system can be set on the timeline, enabling users to send triggers to devices that do not support timecode. The TimeCore can be controlled via a web interface and all programming data is stored on a solid-state flash drive storage device. The TimeCore is also easy to operate with a large seven-segment display, user-definable controls, and mounting options including tabletop and DIN rail.
