Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Active Hub Ramadan Alliance started on March 27th and will run until April 6th during Ramadan, in line with Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s aim to promote active lifestyles and encourage all members of the community to live a healthy life life and improve the quality of life in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The competition, which included various sports such as football, basketball, physical training, swimming and aerobics, was held in 20 schools in Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain and Al Dhafra areas, and sports events and activities were held in Khalifa City A on the 10th. Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director, Sports Development, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “We are delighted to organize Ramadan Sports competitions at various Active Hub venues during Ramadan as it provides an opportunity for community members to come together and prioritize their health and good health, and maintain an active lifestyle. Ramadan is a time to reflect on the important things in life and this includes solidarity with family, friends and the community at large. About “Active Hub”:
‘Active Hub’ is a project initiated by Abu Dhabi Sports Council in partnership with Emirates Schools Establishment and Palms Sports to provide public access to a range of sports facilities in 20 schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.These facilities will be available to boys and girls, their families and all members of the community after normal school hours.
