Actress Lili Bernard came forward to talk about the so-called incident between her and Bill Cosby in 1990.
according to CNNOn Thursday, she filed a lawsuit against Cosby on the grounds that he allegedly drugged her and raped her in Atlantic City around August 1990. She claimed that she met Cosby on the “Cosby Show” set last month, and he was willing to be her mentor when it came to her acting career.
The lawsuit stated that Cosby allegedly told her that “if she works hard and follows his instructions, he will play the role of a speaker on the show.” The lawsuit subsequently accused Cosby of “grabbing and squeezing her breasts violently without permission” during vocal projection exercises.
The alleged drug and rape occurred at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City. According to the lawsuit, Cosby told Lily that he was arranging a meeting with the producer for her to help her develop her career.
Cosby’s spokesperson Andrew Wyatt said in the lawsuit: “This is just another attempt to abuse the legal process to open up to those who have never provided any evidence, evidence, truth, and/or facts. To confirm their alleged allegations.”
While continuing to mention Cosby’s assertion that she was not guilty, Andrew added that “The New Jersey Attorney terminated the investigation of Mr. Cosby and decided not to advance Lily Bernard’s claim,” and pointed out her claim. “Far beyond the statute of limitations.” “
