Adidas continues to work to help reduce our environmental impact, unite people through sports, and create change by inviting the city of Dubai Desert race November 27dayThe event aims to raise awareness of the threat of plastic pollution in the desert, while supporting the country’s vision for a more sustainable future.
Through a powerful lens shot in the city of Dubai, the film previews how one of the world’s most prosperous cities will rise from the desert, encourage residents to protect the country’s birthplace and help eliminate plastic waste.
Starring football legend Zidane and several Adidas brand ambassadors, including Raha Moharrak, Walid Yari and Baraa El Sabbagh, as well as Adidas runners coaches George Crewe, Elizabeth Thompson and Lucy Mutter, the film “Desert race“Visit destinations including Dubai Design District and the historic Al Bastakiya, and finally arrive at the epic Al Qudra Desert.

For every KMran on November 27thday, 10AED will be donated to Adidas’ local sustainable development partner Dgrade to keep our desert clean.
In addition, as part of the desert race, Adidas held a community run in Al Qudra Desert on Friday, November 12. After the run, the participants collected plastic waste near the area as part of the brand’s initiative, which aims to create a better future for sports through sustainable development while changing the local environment.
