Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management announced today that it has signed a formal agreement with Aldar that will see the UAE’s leading real estate developer and manager become FORMULA 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Awards Official Founding Partner of Race 2022.
Aldar has been involved in #AbuDhabiGP since the first race in 2009 and the new multi-year agreement between the two entities will provide more opportunities for the local community in Abu Dhabi to participate in the world famous Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Race the Grand Prix and promote Yas Island, home to the Yas Marina Circuit, to a new international audience.
The developer has played a central role in the development of the island, and the latest partnership with ADMM will also see Aldar become the official real estate partner of Yas Marina Circuit outside of the Formula 1 weekend. The partners will work together to further enhance Yas Island’s status as a world-class sports and entertainment destination on the global stage, in line with the UAE leadership’s vision for the emirate’s social and economic development.
Commenting on the new agreement, Rashed Al Omaira, Chief Commercial Officer of Aldar Development, said: “We have been involved in this journey since the first race weekend and we are delighted to officially be a founding partner of Etihad Airways for this year’s FORMULA 1 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
