Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has approved AED 2.74 billion for 1,800 Abu Dhabi citizens Ram’s housing benefits.
The first housing scheme for 2023 to coincide with Eid celebrations follows the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and reflects the leadership’s commitment to ensuring social stability and enabling citizens to build A strong family commitment to the future of the UAE.
The housing benefit will exempt families of low-income retirees and deceased mortgagors from repaying loans in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. The loans will cover a variety of housing categories, including construction, demolition and reconstruction, and repairs and extensions.
Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, thanked the President of the UAE and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi for their unwavering support in addressing the housing needs of citizens .
