Last week, human remains and items belonging to Brian Laundrie were found in the Carlton Reserve in Florida. In the end, it was determined that the remains were those of Brian. However, the autopsy results did not seem to be able to determine the cause of his death and must be further evaluated.
according to NBC News, Brian’s family lawyer Steven Bertolino revealed that his autopsy results are inconclusive and his body has been sent to an anthropologist for “further evaluation”. In a statement, Bertolino said, “There is no determination of the method or cause of death.”
There is no fixed timetable for when anthropologists will end the evaluation of Brian’s body, but he will be cremated. There are currently no plans for funeral services, but Bertolino said that private services may be held in the future.
Before the remains were discovered, after Brian became a person of concern, searches for him had been for more than a month when his fiancee Gabby Petito disappeared after the two traveled across the country and shared their experiences through social media. On September 1, Brian returned to his parents’ home without Gabby.
Gabby’s was discovered on September 19, and it was determined that she had died at least three weeks before being discovered. Her official cause of death was determined to be a homicide by “manual strangulation”.
As we are Before According to reports, dental records were used to identify Brian’s body. Authorities had previously searched for Brian in the area, but before last week, the area had been flooded.
