Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Abu Dhabi Airways, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, has announced the launch of a new route from Abu Dhabi to Amman, Jordan.
From 12 March 2023, new direct flights will connect Abu Dhabi International Airport and Queen Alia International Airport three times a week.
Adel Al Ali, Air Arabia Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are very pleased to announce a new route to the capital Amman as a gateway to discover the historic country of Jordan. We are constantly working to expand our network from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, to further serve the travel needs of our customers by providing reliable, affordable and value-driven air travel.”
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi continues to increase connections to and from the capital. Amman’s new route is considered to be following Tashkent, Alexandria, Sohag, Cairo, Dhaka, Khartoum, Chittagong, Kathmandu, Muscat, Salalah, Trabzon, Tbilisi, Faisa Rabad, Multan, Cochin, Calicut, Trivandrum, Istanbul Sabiha, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bahrain, Beirut, Kuwait, Moscow and Kazan.
Air Arabia operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single-aisle aircraft in the world. The cabin configuration of the Air Arabia fleet offers more comfort, with one of the widest seat pitches in any economy class. The plane is also equipped with “SkyTime,” a free inflight streaming service that allows passengers to stream a variety of entertainment directly to their devices.
Customers can now book direct flights between the two capitals by visiting Air Arabia’s website, calling a call center or through a travel agent.
