Air Arabia Abu Dhabi opens new route to Moscow

London – Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the first low-cost airline in the UAE capital, announced the launch of a new route from Abu Dhabi to Moscow, Russia.

From 18 November 2022, new direct flights will connect Abu Dhabi International Airport and Moscow Domodedovo Airport with five flights per week.

As part of its expansion plans, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi continues to add more connections to and from the capital. Its fleet has also seen expansion, from the initial 2 Airbus A320 aircraft to today’s 8 new aircraft.

The new route to Moscow marks Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s 27th destination. Currently, the airline is supporting flights to Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Nepal, Sudan, Pakistan, Oman, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia.

The expanding network provides services directly from the airline’s base at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Arabian Airlines Abu Dhabi has always been committed to providing excellent service to its passengers, starting with aircraft with 174 seats, providing passengers with additional comfort with one of the widest seat pitches of any economy class.

The plane is also equipped with “SkyTime,” a free in-flight streaming service that allows passengers to stream a variety of entertainment programs directly to their devices.

Network expansion and growth

As the United Arab Emirates’ first low-cost airline, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi marked a major milestone last month – celebrating One millionth passenger at Abu Dhabi International Airport Since its first operation in July 2020.

Only recently celebrating its second year of successful operation, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has now carried over 1 million passengers on more than 8,000 flights from its main hub at the Emirates Capital Airport.

Direct flights to Beirut and Kuwait will also be launched this month. From October 30, the airline will fly to Beiru Trafic Hariri International Airport on a three-weekly schedule. From October 31st, daily round-trip services to Kuwait International Airport will also begin.

Since the start of operations in July 2020, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s fleet has grown from two Airbus A320 aircraft at launch to eight new aircraft today.

More aircraft are expected to join the fleet by the end of the year. The airline currently serves a network of 27 routes, operating directly from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
