Akshay and Vashu participated in the prayer ceremony and laid a brick while building the temple. On a visit to the holy site, Akshay said: “They are making history…they are creating not just to serve our community, but to serve humanity. To create a place of peace, love and one’s support New world to another person; there really is nothing more powerful than this…’Love Can Move Mountains’ is a true testament to your efforts… really overwhelming! It’s a dream within a dream.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay recently starred in the drama Selfie alongside Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. The film, directed by Raj Mehta, failed to impress audiences at the box office. He will next appear in the upcoming drama film “OMG-Oh my God 2” and “Soorarai Pottru” remake. (Arnie)
