Al Ain International Airport (AAN), owned and operated by Abu Dhabi Airport, welcomes new flights between Al Ain and Cairo, the capital of Egypt, twice a week. The first flight operated by Nile Airlines landed at Al Ain International Airport at 21:15 local time (LT) on Monday, July 12.
Francois Bourienne, Chief Commercial Officer of Abu Dhabi Airport, said: “We are pleased to welcome two additional flights a week between Al Ain and Cairo, which strengthens our connection with the Egyptian capital and facilitates passenger travel between the UAE and Egypt. The introduction of new flights is part of the expansion of Al Ain International Airport and the introduction of new routes, with the purpose of expanding our airline network and providing our passengers with the best travel experience.”
Captain Mohamed Sadek, Chief Executive Officer of Nile Air, said: “It’s been more than five years since we first started flying between Cairo and Al Ain in the UAE. Although the pandemic has had a huge impact on travel, Nile Air is still committed to flying in Al Ain. Ain operates. The outbound flight departs from Cairo International Airport at 15:40 LT every Monday and Friday, and arrives at Al Ain International Airport at 21:15 LT. The return flight will depart from Al Ain International Airport at 22:15 LT on Monday and Friday and land at Cairo International Airport at 00:05 LT the next day.
