- Innovative technology moves the rear wheels via a separate motor for precise torque distribution and handling
United Arab Emirates – Audi Abu Dhabi announced today that the all-new 2023 Audi e-tron S Sportback will be unveiled at showrooms in the capital and in Al Ain. The all-electric performance model is the latest to join the dealership’s electric vehicle (EV) lineup and is available in limited quantities.
The Audi e-tron S Sportback uses three electric motors to deliver impressive sporty performance for higher speed and torque.
Boasting a powerful and sporty design, this model features an octagonal single frame that certainly brings it into the age of electric vehicles. Its sloping rear and strong profile accentuate its wheels, truly embodying Audi’s advanced design language. Inside, sportiness meets elegance with additional features such as optional adjustable custom contoured seats with perforated leather and climate control. The model is equipped with Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, MMI Navigation plus and MMI Touch Response.
Mark Austin, General Manager, Audi Abu Dhabi, said: “Audi DNA is ingrained in all of our electric models and the all-new e-tron S Sportback is another stunning introduction to the brand.”
“The arrival of high-performance models in our showrooms comes at a time when demand for electric vehicles is growing. The recently signed agreement between Audi Middle East, Siemens and the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) aims to improve the Electric vehicle (EV) charging capabilities designed to further increase EV adoption across the country. We are committed to offering our customers a comprehensive range of EVs that seamlessly combine electrification and performance.”
The e-tron S Sportback has 503 hp, 0-100 km in 4.5 seconds and 973 Nm of torque. In addition, charging is easy with dual charging ports for the convenience of the driver with charging up to 150 kW. The e-tron S comes standard with a 9.6 kW AC Level 2 charger, as well as a free home charger and installation.
