Abdulla Lutfi is a young Emirati artist living in Dubai, autistic but extremely talented. The Alliance Française is pleased to have these works of art on the walls in his memory and to raise awareness of the importance of showcasing the creative and diverse talents of people of determination.

His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Al Mualla, who is deeply committed to raising awareness about the inclusion of people with autism in society, welcomed the initiative of the French Alliance Abu Dhabi’s magnificent exhibition, setting an example for coexistence and tolerance.

HE Salem Al Neyadi expresses its gratitude to Francophone presents and contributors, making intercultural relations and exchanges possible.

Mr. Franck Trouilloud, Director of Alliance Française, expressed the originality of Abdulla Lutfi’s artwork, showing humanistic values and many related emotions.

A number of specialized centers are involved, all of which are active contributors to the cause:

The Emirates Autism Center was represented by Dr Mohamed El-Sayed Sharaan, Son Rise For Special Abilities and the British Center for Neurology and Psychiatry.

Some talented therapists also contributed to the event’s success. Ms Danielle Hadchity, Speech and Language Therapist, Ms Dalal Eshmawy, also CEO of the Mom2Speech app, and finally Mr Anas Al Jarrah, Occupational Therapist, deserve special thanks for their efforts.

Abdulla Lutfi’s passion for art is reflected in his intense attention to detail, his black and white worldview and his keen sense of humor.

The artist is also particularly interested in Japanese culture, has visited Japan several times and is currently preparing an exhibition there.

He is also an artist with something special: he sees and interprets the world in a unique and unconventional way. He does not see his particularity as an obstacle, but as his style and inspiration: his work conveys an unusual worldview, with a powerful and unifying message.

Despite his young age, Abdulla Lutfi is a versatile artist who has had several sold-out solo exhibitions. He has held several quick drawing workshops and given demonstrations in certain schools and companies. He has executed multiple orders for hotels, banks as well as Dubai International Airport. He also illustrated a children’s picture book commissioned by the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Washington. His next chapter of the workshop will be held in Tashkil, located in the beautiful Al Fadi district of Dubai.

He sees art as a window to the soul and is seen as an ambassador for people of determination, with a mission to help artists with special needs find and share their gifts. He continues to grow as a person and an artist, including teaching other artists, working with a variety of media, and constantly seeking to expand his skillset.

Alliance Française de Abu Dhabi is proud to present the portrait “The World in My Head” from March 15th to May 15th, 2023. Various works of art on its walls celebrate with playfulness, sincerity, tolerance and release, the inner universe bubbling through each of us, and their performance, far from isolating us, but integrating into what we so need unity.
