“We’re really not sure how the restart will play out,” host Phil Keegan tell the parade. “We’ve waited long enough to make sure we can deliver on our overarching commitment to keep everyone safe. And then we did. It gave us the confidence to go out again and do what we just did.”

Although Keoghan did say he believes the show will return to solo-flying teams at some point. But the show will still put the cast, crew and racers in contact with the rigorous testing of the locals that came to the fore over the course of season 33.
Season 33’s Pandemic Triggers Many “Old-School” Comparisons exciting competition, especially the greater reliance on autonomous driving, and has not changed the formula in recent seasons. This will also carry over to season 34, including the lack of one of the show’s biggest elements in the most recent iteration: the U-turn.
“I don’t know if there’s been that much of an element in terms of content over the years,” Keegan said. “I mean, a lot of U-turns were just ignored. There were a lot of things that weren’t being used for some reason. That wasn’t the point of this comeback. We had other things to focus on.”
Season 34 certainly won’t be without some tweaks, as Keoghan hinted. Like its predecessor, amazing match 34 Will largely stick to the European route. The season will kick off in Munich (the show’s first-ever starting line outside the US), and then travel to Austria, France, Italy and Spain. But what’s exciting is that the show will be filming across continents in an all-new country for the American version: Jordan.
“This season has come at the right time,” Keegan said of their time in the Middle Eastern country. “I haven’t been there since the late ’90s. But it immediately reminded me why this is such a spectacular place. It really is one of those once-in-a-lifetime places. We had some exciting challenges. And got It was amazing to go to Petra and share with someone who had never been there before.”
Also, for the first time in the show’s history, the season will have no non-elimination segments (though the jury is still out on whether every episode will end with a knockout). For the first time since Season 15, a 12th team has been added to the lineup to make the game more intense and high-stakes.
“Non-knockout always divides our fans,” Keohan said. “Some people liked them over the years and others didn’t. I personally like the all-or-nothing approach. I like that you don’t have second chances when you pit. It just ups the ante. Definitely adds another Layers of tension, especially with 12 competitive teams.”

related: everything we know amazing game Season 34
Aastha Lal and Nina Duong – Engaged from Del Rey, CA
Well, actually my history with Aastha goes back many years. We met by chance at the airport.she is a fan amazing game. We had a conversation very early on. She wants to be on the show. I said, “You should apply sometime!” I love both. Both are very smart. There is really a connection. Some couples are like one plus three. They are just shrewd, smart and funny.
They just want to play, they want to have fun. They were just absolutely beaming at the starting line. I love when people actually want to be on the show. They see being on the show as a real privilege. Nothing makes me happier.because you want to share amazing game There was an actor who was very, very excited to be on the show. In fact, no one is more excited to compete than Aastha.
Abby Garrett and Will Freeman – childhood sweethearts from Birmingham, Alabama
Abby was almost speechless at the starting line. She was a little breathless because she was so excited about being there. Then again, there are fans on the show, there are people who are so passionate and excited about the show, how can you not want to share the game with them, share the world? So on the starting line, Will had to take Abby’s place and say, “She’s a little bit excited right now. She’s having a little trouble talking.” (laugh.) They are young, but there is a lot of maturity between the two of them. They really really care about each other. There is a lot of love this season.
Aubrey Ares and David Hernandez – Ballroom Dancers from Los Angeles, California
Sometimes Aubrey stares into David’s eyes, and you can see her completely lost in his eyes. I lost them. They came to the mat and I was trying to talk to them. I saw that she just floated into his big warm and loving eyes. They are very loving to each other. They have great moves and are not afraid of any dance challenges.and there are always challenges amazing game Where we let people move, so there is absolutely no problem with that department. Then David’s skills got the skills of a helicopter mechanic. So those are good skills amazing game With, because we always have something, you have to make something with your hands. So yes, they are fun. Really funny and funny.
Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss – Realistic Romance from Los Angeles, CA
Again, we’re talking about the main love festival here.I would say it must have been a bit cocky to get into the show at first, just for being on another reality show big brother. So there must be a lot of confidence. But I think they’ll be the first to admit that they’re a bit humble about the game after going to the game and realizing, “Oh, well, it’s a little bit bigger than we thought, maybe harder.”
Emily Bushnell (L) and Molly Sinert (R) – long-lost twins from Ardmore, PA and Palm Beach Gardens, FL
I don’t know if we’ve ever had a story like theirs. At the starting line, I’ll make a quick turn and let everyone do a quick introduction of themselves. And I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a story that elicits a reaction from other competitors like the Emily and Molly story. This is the wildest story. And, for me, what I like to see is that we are really watching them get to know each other. They look alike, they are actually related but are getting to know each other. We can see them spending more time together than in their lifetimes. It all happens in front of the camera. And it looks very special.

Glenda and Lumumba Roberts – Newlyweds from Norcross, Georgia
a lot of self-deprecation joke. They were the first to laugh at the height difference. They were hysterical together.I think he said something like, “You hear people say, ‘They go lower, we go higher’? We can go lower and We can go higher! “(laugh.) So they’re really fun together and loving. I mean, you don’t see a lot of these pairings where the female partner is much taller than the male. So when you see them, it’s pretty amazing. But they have a good sense of humor about the whole thing. They must have had a great time going out.
Linton and Sharik Atkinson – father and daughter from Brooklyn, NY
they’ve always been big exciting competition fans for a long time. They watched the show together. Linton had a pretty tough upbringing. He struggled as a young man and then had some great mentors to help him on the right track. And now, he is the vice-principal.He tried to provide his daughter Sharik with a Life He never had.
There is definitely a generation gap in understanding the hardships of life. He’s been through, he’s trying to avoid some hardship his daughter has to go through. But I’ve always liked the father-daughter relationship, back to Ron and Christina. This is an opportunity for those people generation Come together and get to know each other better.
Luis Colon and Michelle Burgos – married from Miami, Florida
Oh my goodness. More love feasts, more dancing and more exciting moves. You have someone like Louis who has a real physical presence as a firefighter and is very healthy. And, yes, a lot of staring eyes. I’m going to say that I lost a lot of interviews on the mat because they just stared each other in the eyes. They are passionate and enthusiastic about the show.
Marcus and Michael Craig – Military brothers from Mount Richmond, Georgia and Alamogordo, New Mexico
Definitely a force to be reckoned with. All military brothers. Book smart and street smart. They have a lot of good practical skills. Competition is fierce. I mean, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anyone be as hard on themselves as Marcus. If he doesn’t do something well, he beats himself badly. I think it’s just because he’s very competitive.
Quinton Peron and Mattie Lynch – Former Rams cheerleaders from Pasadena, CA and Vista, CA
Think of two Energizer bunnies. They literally bounce off walls like Tigger. They are very excited and resilient. It’s like Quinton has springs in his legs; he just bounces around.
Rich Kuo and Dom Jones – motivational speakers from Huntington Beach, CA
Very mental, you’ll see that they really want to use the mental aspect to focus themselves, to be present, to be present, to focus. So, under the pressure of competition, they try to use those life skills that they have to be able to focus and focus. I don’t know if we’ve ever had a team like this before where they took this approach to the game where they literally slowed everything down and at times almost went into a meditative state that likes to focus and do what they want to do that needs to be done .
Tim Mann and Rex Ryan – golf buddies from Brentwood, Tennessee
Rex walks into the room and you know he’s there. He is big, he is bigger than life. His competition is fierce. He is interesting.him and his best friend, Tim, he’s also very competitive and a weight lifter. So the two of them brought a sense of presence. I would like to see them wanting to establish their authority over the competition at the outset. They let us know right away.
