Amazon’s ‘On Call,’ From Wolf Entertainment, Production Suspended – Deadline

The series is Wolf’s first scripted streaming series amazon Universal Television confirmed that Prime Video was shot down in Long Beach, California, but has now suspended it.

Troian Bellisarius (pretty Little Liars) and Brandon Laraquinte (good doctor) stars in the half-hour series, which was originally set up on Amazon Freevee before moving to Prime Video.

The half-hour episodes are from Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television. It got an order for eight episodes.

Created by Tim Walsh and Elliott Wolf, the series follows Tracy Harmon (Belisario), a seasoned female trainer, and her rookie male partner, Alex Alex Diaz (Larracuente), who deal with modern policing while losing a colleague — in the department and on the streets of Long Beach.

Belisario’s Traci Harmon is a veteran military officer disenchanted with her job and struggling to find her place in the department while training the next generation of officers. Larracuente’s Alex Diaz, an ambitious Latino intern, strives to remain optimistic as he realizes the challenges of being a police officer in today’s climate.
