The event will feature music, dance and comedy performances by Confederate celebrities.
The Sindhi community’s annual entertainment show, Sindhyat jee Mehak, will be held at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium in Dubai on November 13.
“Literally a fragrance of Sindh culture, the event will feature a lively mix of music, dance and comedy performances from Sindhi celebrities,” explained event organiser Asha Chand.
The highlight of the event will be singer Pinky Maidasani (pictured), commonly known as “Indian Lady Gaga”.
Chand said: “Pinky is a lively stage artist, Indian female folk rapper and famous backing vocalist. Combining rap with desi music, Pinky has performed in over 5000 live shows and sings in 13 languages. Her songs have been featured in recent Bollywood movies.”
Sindhyat jee Mehak will also collaborate with singer Ahmed Mughal, a popular Sindhi singer from the Pakistani province of Sindh. He is known for a range of songs, ranging from ballads to patriotic songs.
Popular social media artists Sunil and Roshni Hotwani promise to laugh out loud with some humorous Sindh comedy shorts.
Harish Kakwani, director, writer and founder of the Academy of Vision, Ahmedabad will present an inspiring performance of Sindhi celebrities.
