Ascott launches first hotel in Djibouti

Leading international accommodation owner-operator Ascott Limited has entered into a partnership with top real estate group Salaam Properties to launch its first hotel in Djibouti and twelfth hotel in Africa, Citadines City Center Djibouti.

Part of the group’s award-winning Citadines brand, the stunning hotel, due to open in 2024, welcomes guests into a world of possibilities with its innovative aparthotel concept.

With 83 units, Citadines City Center Djibouti has something to suit the needs of every traveller, ranging from spacious studios to sophisticated one and two bedroom apartments. Guests will also enjoy a range of world-class facilities, including a state-of-the-art gym, stylish meeting rooms, quaint resident lounges and fine dining restaurants.

The new property will introduce Ascott’s innovative aparthotel concept to Djibouti residents and visitors, and complements the leading accommodation owner-operator’s existing award-winning hotel apartment offering across the subcontinent, including Nairobi.
