Japanese sports brand ASICS has partnered with leading regional conglomerate Apparel Group to open ASICS retail stores in Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain.
As part of the brand’s commitment to the region, the franchise agreement includes the opening of 20 stores over the next five years, beginning with the official opening of the ASICS store in Qatar on 5 December.
Qatar’s first ASICS retail concept store is located in Festival City Mall, Doha, with a space of 165 square meters, showcasing running, tennis, cricket, volleyball and children’s collections. In-store shoppers can find the all-new GEL-KAYANO 29 – arguably ASICS’ most iconic running shoe, now further improved with advanced technology, and the NOVABLAST 3 shoe – the third generation of ASICS’ unique cushioning combining Japanese origami design with technology Combined running shoe provides a bouncy running experience.

The new ASICS store will also feature ASICS’ Run Analyzer, a free ASICS professional gait analysis and foot mapping technology that helps customers find the right running shoe for their personal running style, improving running efficiency and reducing foot load. In-store trained staff assist with fittings and diagnostic services, pronation analysis, supination and pressure distribution, creating a unique shopping experience for consumers.
