Babil Khan makes his feature film debut start, shared some unpublished photos of his late father, actor Irrfan Khan. In honor of Irrfan’s birthday, Babil wrote an emotional note expressing how much he misses him.

Irrfan passed away in April 2020 after a two-year battle with cancer. He is known for a string of works straddling Hollywood and Bollywood, including Subway Life, Hashir, Pansinger Tomar, Makpur, Haidar, The Amazing Spider-Man “, “Life of Pi” and “Jurassic World” and other movies.

In a photo he shared on Instagram, Babil can be seen playing with his Father’s Arm, sleeping beside him, clicked by him. He captioned the post, “Questions keep me up at night. The ones I never asked then and the ones I will never ask now. I leave my inquiries to my own and that’s ok I’ll figure it out Yes. I miss your laugh, I don’t think there is an answer. Remember the day you came here.”

Barbier had said earlier that his debut feature, Qala, came when he needed it most. In a media interaction, the actor said, “A good friend of mine used to be Annvita’s assistant, and I wanted to do this movie even before I read the script. I never had a second for that.” Thoughts, and getting ready to audition. That was when Dad died, and I was so sad and vulnerable. When I got to Clean Slate Filmz, they made me feel safe.”

Babil’s performance in Qala, directed by Anvitaa Dutt and released on Netflix late last year, has received positive reviews.
