Elaborate columns, façades and rafters dotted with Emirati and Indian cultural symbols wowed the envoys. They had the opportunity to speak with Brahmaviharidas Swami, the guiding authority on the project. He is the lead for this upcoming project. He briefly introduced the features of the temple to the envoys. The temple seeks to be a unique symbol of peace, tolerance and harmony, as well as an architectural marvel. It showcases the beliefs of Hindu mythology and other world religions. The envoys were very pleased with the informative and wonderful tour at the BAPS Hindu Temple. The completion of this mammoth project has been eagerly awaited by the Indian expatriate community, who consider the UAE their second home, as well as Indians everywhere.
