I don’t think there is an Arthur meme that can show how sad I am that “Arthur” is about to end!
“Arthur” is the longest-running children’s animation series on TV. After 25 seasons, Buster and all of them are finally going to say goodbye. The show is scheduled to air its final season in early 2022.
The show’s executive producer, Carol Greenwald, said in a statement: “Arthur is the longest-broadcasting children’s animation series in history. Known for imparting kindness, compassion and tolerance to audiences,” NPR Report.
But don’t worry. You can still share the magic of Arthur with the children in your life. As Greenwald said, the show will continue to be broadcast on PBS KIDS in the next few years.
If you didn’t grow up Arthur, You missed it. The show tells about the life of an 8-year-old aardvark between family, friends and school.
The show features different characters representing different cultures, classes and backgrounds.
The show also touched on the topic of breaking the boundaries of children’s programming. In recent years, the show has been well received and hotly discussed for its 2019 episode of same-sex weddings.
A few weeks ago, news about the end of the show began to circulate, when one of the show’s screenwriters, Kathy Waugh, revealed that the show was no longer being produced and that the last episode was completed a few years ago.
“I think Arthur Should be back,” Wo said. “I know I am not the only one who thinks they made a mistake. “
But Greenwald did give fans some hope. Her statement also said, “The producers GBH and PBS KIDS will continue to work together to produce more Arthur content and share the lessons learned by Arthur and his friends in new ways.”
